Features of Brown Corundum P Series
Brown corundum is made of high-quality bauxite, anthracite, iron ore, and is smelted in an arc at a high temperature of more than 2000 degrees, crushed by an autogenous mill, magnetically separated to remove iron, and sieved into various particle sizes. It has a dense texture, high hardness, and good toughness.
The brown corundum P series is an abrasive product based on a specific particle size standard system. Its core information is as follows:
1. Specifications and particle size marking
Sizes: P12 P16 P20 P24 P30 P36 P40 P50 P60 P80 P100 P120 P150 P180 P220 P240 P280 P320 P360 P400 P500 P600 P800 P1000 P1200 P1500 P2000 P2500 P3000
PSD characteristics: strictly limit the proportion of coarse particles, increase the content of basic particle groups and mixed particle groups, and reduce the proportion of fine particle groups to ensure particle size uniformity.

2. Processing technology and performance
Production process: Based on brown corundum F sand, it is processed through screening, water washing (or acid washing), drying and secondary classification.
Physical properties: The particle shape is pointed, with high grinding ability, good self-sharpening, and cleanliness ≥ 96%.
3. Application areas
Coated abrasives: such as sandpaper, sanding belts, emery cloth, etc., suitable for grinding and polishing high-precision workpieces.
Precision casting: used to make shell materials or refractory materials.
Other scenarios: sandblasting, wear-resistant floor, etc.
4, the difference from the F series and JIS series
Quality and use: The P series is more refined than the F series, with stricter particle size control, suitable for high-precision processing; the F series is used for ordinary abrasives or refractory materials.
Process differences: F sand and JIS sand are usually produced directly, while P sand requires additional screening, water washing, etc.
In summary, the P series of brown corundum has high uniformity and cleanliness as its core advantages, and mainly serves industrial scenarios with high precision requirements
