Brown fused alumina is also called brown aluminum oxide,brown corundum,brown electrocorundum,brown fused aluminum oxide ,brown emery sand,electrocorundum 14A etc
It is made from Calcined Bauxite. It is a hard and tough material, used in grinding wheels manufacturing (both vitrified and resin bonded) and coated products. These grains are also used for shot blasting and as polishing media.
